A family business providing a professional service
The Company was formed originally in 2003 to provide a party service for the local community as there were no retail outlets from which to purchase party goods in the immediate area and more importantly, no expert balloon decorators.
Starting from home with bouncy castles and balloon decor in October 2003, we built up a good rapport with local businesses, supplying items for promotions and decorating their retail outlets with balloons, banners, bunting and fabric.
Within weeks of starting up, the bouncy castles began to be requested at parties & we began to receive requests to decorate function rooms and homes in a similar manner to the retail businesses where people had seen our work.
As the jobs kept rolling in, our home turned into a warehouse of party goods and it was obvious that we needed to expand into other premises which included a retail outlet.
Our first shop was a first floor location opposite Netto and Home Bargains stores on Bury Road. Opened in April 2004, the shop was in a prime location geographically and logistically, receiving lots of local interest & support as well as substantial commuter trade.
Whilst building up the business and running the shop, I managed to fit in some industry standard training with many of the top professionals in their fields and with the support of these and other professionals in the industry, there was no stopping us.
As trade increased we realised we had to expand as we couldn't house everything our customers required from a single storey premises. With a healthy portfolio of corporate, retail & private customers to supply, we needed all the space we could afford.
Luckily for us, the shop next door came onto the market in October 2004 & we moved straight in! We've packed the shop to the rafters with items related to parties of all kinds and pride ourselves on being able to source, collect & deliver orders to customers using a variety of suppliers to fill the order saving the customer time and money as we do all the running around for them.
Since its full launch in June 2004 to end of November 2005, this website has had over a million page views by more than 100,000 seperate visitors.
Our main services now include balloon decorating of parties & weddings, corporate event decorating, balloon printing, helium cylinder rental, hand-made greeting cards, fancydress accessories and 1000's of party items.
